A project in collaboration with You and Me Architecture to conusult with a local community in the redevelopment of their community centre and playspace.

The local council sought to create new social housing whilst also retaining the community facilities on the site. We worked through a series of consultation events to understand the hopes and fears of local people, and to create a proposal which managed these various interests.

The site was masterplanned by Architecture Doing Place who also designed the housing. We developed the design of a community hub comprising of a nursery school and community hall, along with reproviding the play space and a community garden.
